Minnesota’s Independent filmmakers are starting to prove themselves to be some of the most innovative in the industry. Some say it’s the long cold winters that cause us to go mad from being cooped up all winter long with nothing to do but think up crazy stories. Whatever the case Minnesota is becoming an Independent Film Hotspot.
To celebrate Minnesota’s Independent Filmmakers were are offering two categories exclusively to Minnesota Filmmakers:
MN. Feature – Any film produced in Minnesota or by a Minnesotan over 50 minutes.
MN. Short – Any film produced in Minnesota or by a Minnesotan under 50 minutes.
The winners of each of those categories will be screened at the Festival on June 12th 2010 and eligible for the Audience Award.
